In 2021, after fifteen years in hospital administration, our founder Hannah bought forty acres in the Bitterroot Valley, adopted a miniature Highland cow named Willow, and started inviting friends over on weekends. Thrive Ranch grew from those mornings — from the simple, radical idea that a woman is allowed to rest, and the animals will help.

Values
Every experience we build is small on purpose. We don't scale by cramming more people into the pasture — we scale by making each guest feel like the only one who matters that morning. That's not sentimental. That's the whole point.
Animals first
None of our animals will ever be sold. Every guest fee funds their vet care, food, and — eventually — a quiet retirement in the back pasture. Willow will live out her days here, and so will everyone who came after her.

“This land raised me back. It's the least we can do to open the gate.”
